  What is an American Corner?

American Corners are partnerships between the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassies and host institutions.

They provide access to current and reliable information about the U.S. from book collections, the internet, and through local programming to the general public. Access to the collection is free and open to all interested citizens of the host country. 

Meeting rooms are made available to host program events and activities (i.e. author readings, films, speaker programs, workshops, meetings and exhibits).

Currently in Brazil there are two American Corners. Please see the links below:
